Conference Luncheons
Two excellent and inspiring speakers highlight these events, which begin at 12:15 p.m. on Monday, Nov. 9, and Tuesday Nov. 10, in the Terrace Ballrooms on the second floor at the north end of the convention center. Doors open at 12:15 p.m., but the speakers will not begin until 12:45 p.m., which provides plenty of time to travel from the general sessions to the luncheons.
Registration for each Conference Luncheon is $50; contact your treasurer to register. Clark Kellogg
Sports commentator

CBS college basketball commentator Clark Kellogg is known for his enthusiastic and insightful style in presenting the player’s perspective on the game. The former Ohio State University and Indiana Pacers standout joined CBS Sports full time in 1997 after having served as an ESPN studio and game analyst from 1990-1997. Since 1993, he has been a key part of CBS’ coverage of the NCAA Men’s Basketball Tournament.
Kellogg was the “go-to-guy” at Ohio State, leading the Buckeyes in both scoring and rebounding as a sophomore and junior. Following his junior year, he entered the NBA draft and was the Pacers’ top pick. He played with the team for five seasons before retiring with chronic knee problems.
Appreciating the value of education, he returned to OSU and earned a bachelor’s degree in marketing. Five years later, he was inducted into the OSU Athletic Hall of Fame. Kellogg is actively involved in the community and commits his time and support to a number organizations, including the Pacers Foundation, the Simon Youth Foundation, Athletes in Action, the Fellowship of Christian Athletes and the Special K Elite Hoops Basketball Camp. In 2003 he was awarded the Coach John Wooden “Keys to Life Award,” which is given annually to a current or former player who best exemplifies outstanding character and leadership, on and off the court.
Dr. Michele Borba

Dr. Michele Borba is an internationally renowned educator and author recognized for her solution-based strategies to strengthen children’s behavior, self-esteem, character and social development. She has presented workshops and keynote addresses throughout much of the world, and has served as an educational consultant to hundreds of schools and corporations.
Borba has appeared many times as a parent expert on the “Today” show, as well as on other TV and radio programs. She is the author of more than 20 books. Her articles have appeared in Redbook, Parents and Family Circle and she writes the “Parenting Secrets” blog for NBC’s iVillage.
Borba offers realistic, research-based advice culled from a career of working with over one million parents, educators and children.
